Strategic Plan of the Sierra Club
This plan is the culmination of a year and a half–long planning process driven by the Board of Directors. During this period we had extensive consultation with our chapter leaders, national campaign committees, Board committees, The Sierra Club Foundation Board, senior Club staff, and allied organizations. We believe this document captures our collective vision, direction, and strategy.

Sierra magazine Story Suggestions
Sierra is the storytelling arm of the Sierra Club. We bring readers entertaining narratives that reflect the general interests of Sierra Club campaigns and members. We try to avoid campaign overviews, updates on Sierra Club work, and explicit messaging (with a few exceptions); these are in the purview of other Sierra Club departments. Our job is to stimulate a different part of our members' brains and hearts. We want members to lose themselves in beautiful images, to find themselves wrapped up in stories they can't put down. Got a story idea for Sierra magazine? Tell us about it.
